Cubiq Recruitment have partnered with an outstanding R&D company who are looking expand their engineering team based in Canterbury, Kent. The company in question are a next-gen, zero-emissions Aerospace start up, looking to revolutionise the future of aviation.
In your role as an Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of compelx control systems hardware development which will be used in zero emissions aircraft technology. You’ll be using your eye for innovation and eagerness to develop industry disruptive solutions to drive our client forward in becoming a leading player within a field which will dominate aircraft engineering for decades to come.
In addition to a formal qualification (BEng, MEng, PhD) within Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, you’ll be able to demonstrate key skills and experience within the following:
A minimum of 5 years commercial engineering experience
Full lifecycle development of engineering solutions
Previous experience of developing complex control systems. Prior experience within aerospace/avionics would be hugely beneficial
Comfortable with both analogue & digital electronic circuit design
Comfortable with complex PCB designs
Familiar with Switch Mode Power Supply Design
A willingness to adapt to the challenges which come with working within a start up environment
