Job title: Functional Skills English Lecturer (Remote working)

Hours: 15 hours but delivering to 400 students so looking at full-time with delivery, prep and assessing

Salary: £19.72 per hour plus statutory holiday pay

Start date: Monday 4th January 2021

Length of assignment: Up to 3 months

Role responsibilities:

Delivering excellent teaching practice across the functional skills syllabus
Supporting the department when necessary
Adhere to all college policies including Safeguarding and Equality and Diversity
Motivating students to excel in their subject area
Supporting students both pastorally and academicallyThe person and qualifications:

Have the skills to work remotely
Hold a minimum level 3 qualification in a relevant subject
High levels of student engagement
Hold a teaching qualification (desirable)
Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or within 12 months (or be willing to apply for one)Please apply now if you’re interested
