Global Compensation & Benefits Manager, Up to £70,000 + Benefits, 80% Remote Working, ASAP Start, Basingstoke Area, Amazing Technology Company with Fantastic Growth Record.

Overview of the Global Compensation & Benefits Manager:

Reporting into the Global Head of HR, the Global Compensation & Benefits Manager is the first hire in the Compensation & Benefits space and therefore this is a fantastic opportunity to shape and design the company’s Global Compensation & Benefits philosophy aligned to the company values.

Positively the the Compensation & Benefits basic infrastructure and framework has been built (using the Mercer S Framework), however The Global Compensation & Benefits Manager will now take Global Compensation and Benefits function to the very next stage so its a great chance to build and scale the function with a company and is going from strength to strength.

Main Responsibilities will include:

Establish an inspiring, innovative, and pragmatic vision for global compensation and benefits that focuses on employee experience and market competitiveness.
Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent while maintaining fiscal discipline.
Manage salary surveys and compensation structures aligned to the job architecture.
In partnership with the regional HR leads, manage relationships with our clients benefits brokers and providers for the countries supported while ensuring that the business is offering market competitive, user friendly, cost effective and compliant employee benefits
Establish and measure key metrics, bench marking company programs, and monitoring external trends to ensure market competitiveness while ensuring internal equity.
Evaluate, recommend, and implement systems and tools to ensure the most effective administration and communication of rewards programs, including integration with HRIS.
Develop and maintain effective communication strategies to drive employee awareness and understanding of Total Reward / Compensation & Benefits programs.
Working with finance and sales leadership, manage and evolve commission schemes
Partner with the HR and Business leaders during the annual compensation review
Work with HR Partners on providing standard and creative compensation packages to manage and win competitive offers for top talent.
Experience Required:

Compensation and benefits experience of multiple countries
A subject matter expert in the practice of total rewards
Experience of developing salary grades
Experienced of designing or improving and successfully implementing benefit programs
Experience managing vendors and developing relationships
Knowledge of Mercer’s S Band system would be beneficial
Degree and/or relevant CIPD qualification
Consultative and collaborative approach
Problem solver working on sustainable and actionable outcomes
Working with a compliant mindset
